Anyone else getting SPAM from the Fred Smith campaign? I got one unsolicited email and politely unsubscribed. I thought it was weird that he would have my email in the the first place, but what was even more weird is that it said I was subscribed as email to Fred_Smith_Campaign_Listserv on LYRIS listserv. I don't remember subscribing to this, but I got my unsubscribe confirmation and thought I was done with it. A week or two later, I got another one. However, this one states that I am subscribed to Fred_Smith_Voter2 listserv. Funny, I don't remember subscribing to this one either. I know this is just SPAM, a minor annoyance, but does this seem shady to any of you?
I got one too! The weird thing is it went through my work address (Michigan based server). It was not the address I used with 4042 (I would hope not) so it is a bit of a head scratcher how he got it (probably from a GOP purchased mailing address purchase).
I received another one from some other campaign in Johnston County. I mist have gotten on some list and been sold. Regardless, here is the address to be taken off all Lyris lists...http://www.lyris.com/contact/global_unsubscribe.html It can't hurt to do this anyway if you want to reduce spam.
Went to Neal Bortz web site. They have a link to a site where those trying to win office and those already in office state their view points. Mr. Smith has refused to reply and answer the questions. Why is that??????
