Free coffees

Hey guys, saw it on the news and forgot all about it till i just went to get a drink at McDonalds and Monday is free coffees day - not a full size but got a free iced mocha coffee - yummmm

 

McDs trying to stick it to Starbucks. Tell ya the truth, I'm not a big coffee drinker, but during the cool months I like McDs hot chocolate okay...occasionally. I try to avoid lots of hi-cal beverages and caffeine. I try to avoid McDs altogether, when I can.

 

Yep, I slid up in there this morning and used the second speaker at the drive thru. The girl asked "would you like an iced mocca (sp?) today" and I said no.

Then I heard the girl on speaker #1 ask another customer if they'd like a free iced mocca and I was like dang!

I told the girl at the window to sign me up too but after waiting so long (I reckon I just messed up their whole gameplan) I just pulled away.

Glad it was good!

I went this morning and plan on going back today on my way home. It's not over till 7 pm.
