Just wanted to pass this along. Aversboro Road Baptist Church is holding a free dental clinic on Sat 9/16 from 9am - 4pm for those without insurance or low income. They can do fillings, pull teeth, etc short of root canals. Several local dentists are taking part in this clinic including Dr Sims. The number to call to set up a time or for info is 989-8312.
I sure hope that you posted the wrong number. I got a screwed up answering machine that said "this is _____ from charlotte, leave a message and I may or may not get back to ya" it was longer than that and the guy sounded wasted. Can you check that number again? or IS that the right one? If it is I don't think I will be getting my teeth cleaned by them. Thanks
That was the number i was given by the folks that came by our office but she may have written it down mistakenly. i would try the church itself @779-0434 for info.
More information on this subject. The man called me back last night. They don't want to do just cleanings and check ups. They mostly wanted to know if I had pain and things such as that. I am taking it that only if you are having a "problem" you will get an appointment. He said he would call me Friday night and let me know if there are any openings. I guess it is due to how much response they have. Thanks for the info anyway. I actually have a friend who's daughter needs a filling, and they don't have dental ins. Maybe she can utilize this free offer.
