A trained therapy team with reading experience will be at Cleveland Library on Saturday, November 12, 10-11 a.m. Sandra Still, a National Board Certified Teacher and English Department Head at Garner HIgh School is the trainer and assistant reader, while Mollibay's Bumbershoot of Seattle (Brella) is the therapy dog. As a team, they qualified at the highest level of training for the therapy dog program and are able to work in all settings, including hospitals. They have passed the training necessary to work in Wake County's See Spot Read program and are working at Southeast Regional Library and Garner High School to earn Brella's 50 hour experience ranking.

Dress appropriate for the temperature, bring a short story, or a simple short easy read book to read to Brella, and do bring something comfortable for sitting on the floor. Brella is a short, but long, Dandie Dinmont Terrier and does not do heights. Please do not bring food or drink. Brella, as a working dog, is on a very controlled diet.
