I thought I would check with you guys first rather than put this in the classifieds. I was hoping to find a family that needs some furniture. I bought new dining room furniture yesterday. We have a dining room table in "sturdy" condition (if not in perfect condition) and an assortment of mismatched chairs (2 patterns). Table seats 6 and I think there are about 8 or 9 chairs (some came from my grandparents farm...yet they are not antiques). I was hoping to find a family that has a "need" for these. I can truck it all to Goodwill but I know what it is like to "need". Do any of you know of someone? These are free but the only catch is that is has to be picked up TODAY. Amy, the West Johnston High School Band Parents Association is accepting items for a yard sale they'll be having on May 3. Proceeds from the sale will go to help band students with the cost of the trip to the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in November. They have storage available for donated items.
