Hey guys... I'm not one for spreading anyone else's business, but I wanted to let you all know that she's traveling a very rough road right now. There really isn't anything you can do, but I wanted to ask you all to say a prayer for her and her family. So whoever you pray to, ask them to watch over her family and give them peace. I know she'll appreciate it. Thanks, Jen
Oh no, so sorry to hear, i love her, she is truly a wonderful person - will definitely send up prayers for her and her family and keep her in my thoughts:grouphug:
She'll definately be in my thoughts. I really think highly of her ... and I wish her the best. She's a great person who deserves wonderful things.
So sorry to hear this, will keep her in my thoughts and prayers, she is truly a wonderful person :grouphug:
I would love to help out. FMO2 was the first one to contact me when we were taking up donations for a family that was burned out of their home years ago. She is the nicest, most giving person there is. I am NOT a very good cook but I would be willing to donate $ to someone who is planning to buy food to cook for her family OR I can purchase something already made (chicken, etc.) to take over. Please PM me and let me know what I can do and thank you very much for organizing this. Michelle
Thank you all so much for your thoughts and prayers and hugs. I can't tell you how heartwarming and deeply appreciated they have been. Mom passed away yesterday and she is no longer suffering. After a courageous 2.5 year fight, ovarian cancer took her life. A number of folks have asked me about meals and what we need. Right now we are fine - so sad - but coping. If anyone wishes to make a donation to Hospice of Wake County, I am sure mom would have liked that. Thank you all again and again. FYI - ladies, please take a look at the symptoms in the link below and don't wait to go to the OB/GYN doctor if you have them. Mom went to her primary care Dr for too long before they figured out her pain was caused by ovarian cancer. By then she was stage 3. There is a reason they call it a silent killer. It really does whisper, so please listen. http://www.ovarianawareness.org/Education/OvarianCancerInformation/Symptoms.aspx Faye
Faye, Your mother was truly one of a kind and I am very honored that I got to meet and spend a little time with her. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.
