Fruit Flys

I know I had seen something on Those annoying Fruit Flys in the house but I can't find the thread..... Could someone tell me how to get rid of these annoying small little flys that fly all over the bread and anykind of food in the house that is not actually in the fridge. Everything I leave on the counter has those flys flying around and it is impossible to put everything in the fridge. Is there something I can leave on the counter that they can go to and drown in or such,,,,,, anything..... HELP......

got anything from those little black ants, I spray, I clean and they still come back. grrrrrr
