STAR WARS for Grant Come by Oakland Presbyterian Church (OPC) this Saturday from 11:30am to 2pm for a luncheon with Grant Bleeker. Grant wants to invite you to meet his new friends from the 501st legion who will be joining us around noon. We’ll be having hot dogs, chips and drinks for lunch and all proceeds go to help Grant and his family with their continuing campaign. Grant was diagnosed with a cancerous brain tumor in April of this year and has been fighting the good fight ever since. OPC and our local Cub Scout Pack 33 will be hosting the event. Please bring your appetites and cameras and let’s raise some money for a wonderful family and a young Cub Scout that loves Star Wars. All Donations will be accepted. We'll be there for sure. This is a wonderful family that has done so much for others. Grant is a great kid ... just like the rest of his great family. We'll be at the GCAA soccer fields on Saturday. I love that the church where this event is being held is located just across the street from the soccer fields ... that way we can grab a bite just before the game. I hope lots of folks who will be playing on the GCAA fields Saturday will make a trip across the street for lunch.
