Some animal rights advocates had suggested that as many as 20,000 pets die in airliners every year.

The figures released Thursday by the Transportation Department bolsters airlines' claims that the vast majority of animals survive flying without a problem.

Six U.S. airlines reported a total of 10 incidents, including five cases in which a pet was injured and one in which a pet was lost.

More than 2 million pets and other live animals are carried by airlines every year in the U.S.

Sounds like our local furballs that can't get their facts straight about the chamber costing more than the needle.

Currently, it costs approximately 86 cents to put an animal to death in the gas chamber and approximately $1.35 per animal when administering EBI.

Sounds to me like furballs everywhere use inflated numbers to try and support their cause. No wonder nobody gives them the time of day!!!!

Secret meeting will be held this weekend at the regular place. Use the special password chamber when you arrive. That is all for now. See you there.
