FYI - JoCo football games moved to Thurs

All Johnston Co. high school football games moved to Thursday

All of Friday's games involving Johnston County high school football teams have been moved to Thursday.
Thursday's schedule:
Dixon at Princeton, 7
West Johnston at North Johnston, 7
South Johnston at Clayton, 7:30
Chapel Hill at Smithfield-Selma, 7:30

 

Not that it really bothers me much, but are they also moving the JV games to Wednesday night, since they normally play on Thursday?

I wouldn't think so, because they won't be playing in the same place. If JV is at home, Varsity is away. They play the same school, but not at the same place. They should be okay.

 

I wish WJHS had more HOME GAMES!

 

In football, Varsity and JV play at different sites on different days.

North Johnston will play @ West Johnston tonight at 7pm. (JV)

West Johnston will play @ North Johnston tomorrow at 7pm. (Varsity)

 

I meant that part too. They play on different days, but also different places.

 

yes but the same refs that call Varsity on Friday nights call JV on thursday night. Gonna be hard to get that many refs for one night.
