Went grocery shopping at BJ's today and had hoped to get gas. BJ's gas is out. Closed. Gas at the Exxon (intersection of Cornwallis & 42W) is $3.99 for regular today. It was cheaper than the interchange today which was $4.09. Ouch!!! This is really going to hurt us all economically. Stephanie--mom to 7
Do you honestly think so? The mall was packed yesterday. Parking lots of Target, Wal-Mart, Best Buy, etc... seemed pretty full. Every resturant and fast food place we passed appeared quite busy. The roads were not lacking for traffic.
Most people will drive, life goes on, doesn't matter how much gas costs. They have us by the, well, you know what! I can honestly say, I would probably buy gas if it was up to $10.00 a gallon. Do I have a choice? Not if I want to work!
The NC Petroleum Association stated on the evening news that there was little damage and he expects prices to drop soon.
sheetz in fuquay is out of all but the 93 grade and it was $3.89.....still cheaper than lots a places.
You can go to wral.com then traffic then put in your area code and it lists lowest prices in your area code.
