What: GCAA 2008 Spring Rec Soccer Walk-in Registrations When: Saturday, Jan 19, 2008 --- 9am - Noon Where: Ag Building (building behind gym) on GCAA complex Who: You will only need to stop by during one of the walk-in registration times if you need to pay with cash (please bring exact change) or check when you registered online or if we require a birth certificate for your child. We have some birth certificates on file. If we do not have one for your child then please bring a copy (not the original because we need to keep the copy that you bring). Additional Important Information: Online Registrations will continue until January 26, 2008. There will be no late registration (no exceptions). All registrations will be done via our website. (This is a direct link for soccer information and registrations: http://gcaasports.cmiregistration.com/default.aspx) During our walk-in registrations we will have a limited number of computers available for you to use to register your child to play using this same website. Our new registration system will allow you to register your child and at the end of the process you may pay with a Mastercard or Visa or you may select to "Pay In Person." If you choose to "Pay In Person" you will need to bring cash or check to the walk-in registration, failure to pay during a walk-in registration or by credit card online will result in your registration being cancelled and your child will not be able to participate this season. The registration process is not considered complete until payment has been received. We expect these walk-in registrations to be quite busy and recommend that you register ahead of time if at all possible. Thanks, GCAA Soccer Committee
Am I having dejavu? Yep, sure am! Grinder just posted this info yesterday...guess you guys are really wanting folks to sign up!
Sure, they would like as many as possible to sign up, thats the whole point of things. However, the reason it was posted it again is because no matter how many times you post notices, no matter how many emails you send out, notices in the paper, notices to the schools etc...you still end up with a dozen if not more complaints that people did not know about it. So...the GCAA does what it can.
Well, I've gotta give you guys credit. I see signs on all the local roads, in front of the complex itself, in the school folders, on here, and we've gotten emails from coaches last season, so I think y'all are doing a great job promoting it! I just hope enough coaches sign up so everyone that wants to play can!
