The 8U GCAA Cleveland Anagel Allstar Softball team has won the Tarheel District 5 Softball Tournament held in Clayton. The Angels will now advance to the State Tournament in Wilkesboro in 2 weeks to play for a chance at the state title. Way to go Angels and all the awesome coaches. You have all made us very proud. :hurray::hurray::hurray:

Our girls have really worked hard and are very excited about going to Wilkesboro to represent Cleveland. Hopefully we can come back with some hardware. Thanks to everyone for your support. Baby girl left this am going to Wilkesboro to represent the JOCO 12u girls softball in the State tournament - so proud of my little catcher - gave her Mom my camcorder so i can see everything even though i am not there and up in VA, my little man grandson is in Luray competing the State tournament for baseball - so proud of both grandchildren and wishing them both luck:hurray::hurray: (ok a Nanna can brag once in awhile can't she?):lol:
Wilkesboro State Tournament Update Cleveland's 8U All-Star team won yesterday 15-4 over Wilkes County in 4 innings. Our next game is today at 3. Johnston County's 12U team lost 19-11 to Granite Falls and play today at 1:30 Good luck girls.
yeah, i was amazed that the coach brought in travel team player who hadn't even been on the team and the regulars who got them where they are sat on the bench
That was on the 12U Team and they are Johnston County AllStars. This was not GCAA's Cleveland Angels Team nor was the head coach apart of the GCAA Softball Program. GCAA was disappointed in hearing about this as well but it was out of their hands.
