Hi, I am currently the coach of the GCAA U 11 challenge team for the fall. As of now, we are in need of at least 3 more players for the team. birthday cut-off? What's the age limit/birthday cut-off? My child plays but he will be 12 in December...not sure if this makes him u11 or u12.
Pretty sure it's August 1 if it's the same as it is for Rec. As of August 1, your child will be 11. But he is still U12. U=Under, and he is already 11, so he is not "Under" 11.
Child would have to be born between 08/01/2000 - 07/31/2001 to be a U11 player. If they are U10 (08/01/2001 - 07/31/2002) and have the talent and skill level to play up 1 year that is also an option.
