"Geminid meteor shower is due to reach its peak late Wednesday night
    and early Thursday morning.

The Geminid event is known for producing one or two meteors every
minute during the peak for viewers with dark skies willing to brave
    chilly nights."

I hope the skies clear so we can see the show. Sounds beautiful (and frugal)! :D

    Enjoy!

ty for posting this, I would have missed it!

I was just talking today about how my daughter and I would get up early and brave the chill to see meteors and showers :).

Thanks FM! I want to try to see it. My son and I saw one a few years ago, and it was so neat! It was fun getting up early, wrapping up in blankets and just sitting back on the porch watching the show. :)

Did we just had lenoid meteor showers last month? My son and I were outside to watch the sky, but we only saw one shooting star.
