And I am sooooooo jealous. Awesome to watch on tv, but wish I could have been there. So exciting!
The wife's torn. She grew up just outside of Beantown and loves the Bruins, but is also a Cane's fan. For me being just a Cane's fan I'm loving some playoff hockey. Craig
Friday's game will be the one,, if Canes can notch that one then I think the Fat lady will be tuning up her vocals... This against the best team all year... not at the moment though
Shew! Watching that one in OT was better than farting downwind toward my mother-in-law! Two more to go boys! Let's get 'em.
I was as impressed after the game with the excitement of the fans leaving the arena and parking lots... Reminded me of the SCF in 06.. May the Canes and our fans keep the energy up for Game 4 Friday night..
Why in the world would us hockey fans follow anything to do with Pro BBall, especially anything from Cleveland??? If anything Cleveland should follow the Canes and it's fans to see how it's done!!! I will give you this... LeBron = the only good thing bout Cleveland !!!
WTG Canes! I bet the neighbors wonder what the heck is going on when the 7 of us watch the games. We yell and holler a lot. I hope they don't think we are fighting! Bruins' goalie, Tim Thomas, played for my college team, UVM, watched him in the play offs there and loved him! Sucks that he plays for the team the Canes are against now!
Its not about the ball... its about the crowd there, louder than anywhere,,, a lot of hot air up there. :jester:
Saw some little blurb last night about the RBC Center and how quickly it's becoming the loudest house in the NHL. Craig
From what I remember from the last time we won the cup, it seems that NC has taken Hockey and made it a southern sport in that the Canes were the first to have a real mascot (Stormy) http://hurricanes.nhl.com/team/app/?service=page&page=NHLPage&bcid=stormy and also the first team to have a professional dance team (Storm Squad) http://hurricanes.nhl.com/team/app/?service=page&page=NHLPage&bcid=rad7D589 Add to that the loudest house in the NHL and I think we like our hockey.
