I have a rather large pine tree in a bad place in my yard that I would like removed. I don't want to just cut it down. I don't want to deal with the stump and such. I would prefer that someone with a backhoe come and dig around it and push it down and then haul it away. It will probably need to be cut into two or three sections in order to take it away. It is a large pine tree and is probably worth some money at a local lumber mill. Depending on cost I may like to get one or two smaller pine trees taken down at the same time. One summer as a kid I worked on a backhoe crew. We took down 2 large pine trees this same way and took them to a local lumber mill. I know we got some money for both trees. My boss offset the cost of the backhoe work some with the money he got from trees. Anyway... any recommendations for any local crew that can take care of this for me for a reasonable price? Thanks.
LOL Ken, mind in the gutter a little bit. You can try Paces Hauling they may can do it, not sure if they do smaller jobs or just big ones..
Don't go with anyone brand new in the business - they could be using the backhoe that was just stolen off the Storage Unit building site on Cleveland School Road:lol:
