I switched from IE to Google Chrome. Getting all kinds of popups. Followed "turn pop-ups off instructions. Still getting popups. Suggestions?
They were so bad I just uninstalled Google Chrome. Back to IE9. Unfortunately apparently MS does not support IE9 for MS Vista so I have problems with certain web sites but no popups
Part of your problem is that you are on Vista, probably the worst OS MS ever made, well that or Millennium Edition lol. You are using an OS over 7 years old. That doesn't help. I would say from the sounds of it that you have a virus or some malware. Do you have up to date name brand AV installed?
