I just saw this on Yahoo! web news. I thought it looks pretty cool. If your pet wanders outside the boundary you have determined, you will be alerted immediately and sent the continuously updated location of your pet, to the 2-way wireless device of your choice; cell phone, pda, computer, etc.

I used to have a dog in the past and he always ran away from us. I thought I share this with you and see if that would help your dog.

Saw this on GMA a week or so ago and it sounded great but the big drawback was the size of the monitor on the dog - i don't know about your dogs but put something on my dogs that size and they are gonna figure out a way to get it off. The journalist on GMA who was showing the piece said the same thing and the manufacturer actually agreed that it would take some training to teach the dog to tolerate it.

i still wish they would put good ole GPS in the chips they put in dogs and cats:-D

Wow, did you see that the batteries only last 1-5 days, depending on what mode you run it in? 3 AAAs. I hope I read that wrong. GPS chips would be great! That has to be possible by now, doesn't it?
