Anyone know of any good restaurants in Wilmington. My husband and I are leaving tomorrow morning for a week long trip for our anniversary. Any recommendations be greatly appreciated!

I 4th Elijah's. Yes, I know the one you're talking about next to it. There are several good restaurants along the water there. I love that part of Wilmington.

What area of Wilmington are you staying, downtown or beach?

    Near the beach:

    The Oceanic
    South Beach Grill

Boca Bay has a great Brunch on Sunday - a little pricey, but a fantastic variety to sample from. They're dinner menu is good too!

Sweet and Savory also has good breakfast.

That's all I can think of for now.

I always check www.tripadvisor.com when visiting new places.

Nothing fancy, but if you want something more casual while you are there, The Front Street Brewery has a fun atmosphere and decent pub food.

The Pilot House is next to Elijah's and has great food too!

Haven't been in years but ate at both The Pilot House & Elijah's. Both excellent but I liked Elijah's better. Pilot House was fancier tho.
I understand you'd like a special place for dinner but if you'd like a great casual lunch while there, I highly recommend 'Something Fishy'. The locals love it too. Lots of good food & best prices in the area. It's between Wilmington & Carolina Beach.

We always like Dockside, right on the Intercoastal. Food is average but the scenery and atmosphere is outstanding. Get to see boats pull up to the doc and come in and eat and then see all the boats and people going up and down the Intercoastal. Very cool.
