I did a search ehre and only came up w/ a thread back from 2007, so I'd like somethign a little more current. :) I looked in the Business Classifieds here but didn;t see anyone advertising gutters. Anyone here have any recommendations? I see the little red and white signs all over for Prestige Gutters. Anyone used them?

I'm not looking for anything fancy, just regular old aluminum gutters like everyone has. My house is just a small starter-type house (1120 sq ft). Bakc fo the house would jsut need to be one long piece w/ a downspout (I assume just on the one end???). On the front, I jsut ahve a square front porch/stoop w/ an overhanging roof, not a "real" portch, so I would need an L-shaped gutter on each side of the overhang, each w/ a downspout.

Any help would be apreciated before I just start calling people in the phone book. Thanks!

Southern State Gutter in Clayton 550-0364. I can't remember the owners name, but he did a good job on our gutter installation. We had the aluminum gutters installed and he used screws instead of the long gutters nails.

Owner Tim Howell...real nice guy. He and his crew came out and did the job exactly how I wanted it done, for a good price. They use seamless, hidden hangers, and screws. He usually has a booth at the annual strawberry festival.

We just had ours done by Triangle Seemless Gutters. They did a great job. We went with the aluminum, on both stories of roofing, with connecting spouts, on 3400 sq ft, for just under $800. It was a lot less for only doing one level of the roof, but this is our forever house, so we want the roof to last as long as possible. Oh, and they dug under our landscaping mulch to bury the exit spout so that it wasn't unsightly or draining into the garden, at no extra charge. Our only complaint was that they gave us a date about 10 days from when we called to okay the job. They didn't show on that date and didn't call. When we called them they said the next week, which had a lot of rain. So ultimately it was about a month from when we called to schedule to when they came out and installed. But they did a great job and I would recommend them.

Thanks for all the names and numbers. Will probably call them all for estimates! I'm cheap that way. :)

In case you are still looking... these guys were the cheapest of the four that I called. Did a great job and look really good.

I have used Prestige for 2 of my homes. They are fair, professional, and fully bonded. The owner's name escapes me right now, but he has been very prompt in returning my calls when I needed the work done.

My vote is for Tim also. He was recommended from this site.

I had him install gutters about 2 months ago. He did a great job and he price was the cheapest.
