What happened to Habitat Restore in Smithfield? Does anyone know if they moved again and where? Can't find any information and there's no sign at store. Thanks for any information.

They closed their store as they were losing too much money on it.

 

That really stinks. I use to go there from time to time and have picked up a few things and even donated a few items to them.

I still have not figured out where the one in Raleigh moved to.

I also remember when I did my CNA clinicals over at JMH I met the guy who runs the HFHR there. He was visiting a patient.

 

I think there's one in Clayton too - off main st, between downtown and 70.

 

The one in Clayton closed when they moved to Smithfield. Raleigh location is 2420 Raleigh Blvd. Take the beltline to Brentwood Road, left on Noblin, right on Raleigh Blvd.

 

Thanks for the info. We weren't sure if they moved or just closed. It's a shame we don't have any where closer to donate the kinds of things they would take.
