What do you think? http://ncnn.com/edit-news/10417-insurance-commissioner-supports-hands-free-phone-bill-
Not as bad as texting, but holding onto a cell phone is still a danger to other drivers due to the distraction and only having one hand makes the infrequent use of turn signals even more prevalent.
"Drivers 18 years old and older would be able to use their cellphones if the phone is mounted in the vehicle " So basically everyone that wants to use a phone while driving needs to go out and buy a mount for their car now.
I don't believe that is what the bill says. It says it has to be mounted in the car. So by that reasoning, it couldn't be on your lap, or on a seat, or definitely not in your hand.
And the call must be able to be initiated and terminated by the push of only one button, such as when the phone is linked to the car.
Well I'm not about to spend 10 dollars I don't need to just because the majority of people agree I should... I won't use it, so why should I have to pay. (4forparks)
