how do you know something happened? I'm curious now.....I wll be watching this thread.... I'm so dang nosey!
Oh, I was there. An ambulance was out front then another one pulled up. We walked the woods/battleground and when we came back they were gone and back to doing tours.
A friend and I went to a battlefield a couple years ago, but don't think this was it, it just had a tiny building (like a museum, but very small) and some trails where the battle was. Seems like it was down by Fayetteville somplace. This place you're talking about sounds nicer though, is it a good place to go visit? I think my kids are probably too young to care, but I'd like to see it. Never heard of it, I've lived here 10 years!
We have been to a few of the reenactments, They have a VERY BIG one every 5 years, ( I think). Horses and all. We saw the cannons being fired last year. DS was thrilled at all that!
