I am looking to find the best hotel for the money & ammenities on Destin, Fl. Has anyone ever been & where do you stay?
I haven't stayed at any of the hotels at Destin Beach, but my parents lived near Ft. Walton beach back in the 80's & 90's. We went to Destin Beach many times. It is one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen. Hope you enjoy yourself!!
Anywhere at Destin is great or you may want to stay at Ft. Walton. They call this area the redneck rivera. It is white sand beaches and clear blue water. You will never want to come home to the NC beaches ever again. You will have to go on a dolphin cruise or rent a jet ski and see all the wonderful sea life. Love it................
I so agree with both above post.... the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen!!!!! Ft. Walton/Destin beautiful! Wish I was there!
Beachgirl, Destin is kinda trendy so it will actually just depend on what you feel is a good price. I looked some on the travel link on AOL and from Ft. Walton out to Destin, they were as low as about $75 per night up to $370. Do you want a room right on Destin Beach or are you willing to stay across Hwy 98...it all depends on what you are looking for...I will agree with pp, it is absolutely beautiful.
