My oldest son said he heard that one of the sons of a family in our neighborhood was killed in a car accident last night. :-( I don't know this family, just know of them and where they live. According to my son, the child that supposedly died was a 16 year old named Luke. Anyone hear anything... nothing showing up on WRAL or WMPM's websites yet. Hoping it is just a bad rumor...
i heard it on ABC news this morning - they said drinking was not involved but speeding was:cry: - check ABC news website.

My son worked with Luke. He was on his home from the job. According to him they closed the pizza place early when they got news of the accident. My son was in disbelief when he got word that Luke didn't make it. He said 'Mom I can't believe it. I was just with him. He was happy and laughing when he left." This is the first person my son really knew well to pass away. I think that's why it has affected him so.I never met Luke but my son talked about him. He really liked him and enjoyed working with him. I now he will be missed not just by his family but by his coworkers also. Please remind your young drivers to be careful, watch thier speed, and use their seatbelt.
