The consuming black holes or small quasar was supposed to be scheduled for Wednesday, Hugh.

I did some work for the Brookhaven National Laboratories Collider and had to deal with a few idiots blaming me for the future destruction of the planet.

Well, we still may give you partial blame.

Have a good one. I've got sleep in my eyes.

Once the world is gone, will it really matter who's to blame?

Another thing: Who is going to change the answer on the web page if/when it becomes "yep"?

    Just wondering....

Still here on our end. Started to do a Thread on this last night so I am glad you did Hugh. Seems we were counting heads not long ago when another group said we were all going to die the next day.

My teen was all into this last night and it was interesting reading.

    Sherry

I watched the video yesterday. It really is some interesting stuff. Goes well with my 9th grader's current science lessons as well (even if she does HATE this stuff.) I find so much of my kid's lessons SO interesting. It's difficult for me to refrain from reading every single lesson. They have some lessons that they can read and do on their own but I learn so much with them I want to read them all. Can't manage that with 4 of them though.

Now, if only I had been so interested when I was in school:?

Anyway, I am amazed at the gigantic size of that thing! Not worried about it ending the universe though. That will happen when God gets ready to let it happen and I'm fine with that:mrgreen:

Yeah, sure is funny how we find all of this interesting and love to read now but when we were younger...no way. My teen has three classes this semester that I actually understand and enjoy. Having a hard time with pre-calculus, not sure if she will hang in that class. We will know this week. AP Biology, the U.S. History and AP English are all fun for me, I just don't let her know.

    Glad you're back,
    Sherry

P.S. Saw Bill Nye on TV earlier and he was having a blast with this.

Thanks Sherry. I enjoy chatting with you guys. Man I wish I'd caught that show. My Mom says that after I'm finished schooling all 4 kiddos I will be super smart. Thing is, I can't remember where I left my ring in the house 2 months ago so I think retaining physics is probably out of the question. Even after teaching it 4 times:lol:

    Sherry,

You were asking about tutoring in another thread. I noticed yesterday that there is a tutoring / test preparation business coming soon to Clayton. They will be located in the place next to W. Clayton Elementary, where Robin's Nest used to be. I can't remember the name, something weird starting with a "t" and having a "y" in the middle. I have never heard of them before. I thought about you when I saw their sign.

    Snuff
