wow - what a slap in the face to his family. I feel so bad for them. Not the kid who did the crime, just his folks. THey tried to give him good rais'ins but he blew it. oh well. Some kids are just ungrateful and Bad no matter what you do. Heck, every killer has a mom and dad who is disappointed.

This is terrible for Coach Lowe & his family - but even worse for UNC freshman Stephen Cobb who was shot in the lower back. Hopefully Cobb and the others vicitimized by this ungrateful, little gangsta thug will be able to recover fully & get their educations back on track. I'ts hard enough for parents to send their kids away to school - hoping everything will be OK. I'm sure those close to thug Lowe's victims' feel a real loss of security. I feel terrible for Coach Lowe and his family. Maybe rather than quickly bailing out this kid - it would have been a good time for a little "tough love". I'm not sure that running to the aid of a murderous, thieving, drug dealer is the best approach. It's time for junior to face the consequences of his actions. I have more sympathy towards criminals who were raised poorly by dope head criminal parents. I also feel a little compassion towards criminals who are stealing to feed themselves or thier families. However, this kid had parents who have handed him the world - money, education & a good role models. The ungrateful brat threw it back in their faces. He's tarnished the family's reputation and hurt many other families in the process. A little jail time may save this kids life - and the lives of his potential future victims.
