Hattera6, My son loves any book that mentions sharks. We read your wife's book: "The Story of Two-Toes Sam - How the Outer Banks were Formed" again last night. My son also loved the shark's tooth that came with the book & the fact that your wife (a famous writer) signed it for him It was fun putting a face with another 4042 regular at West View's Bazaar last weekend. Hopefully your booth had a good turnout.
Melynda, Please allow me to apologize for not responding sooner. We went to Morehead City to have T-day with family, and I didn’t log on my laptop at all. Just got back late Sat night, and looked on this just now. Thanks so much for the compliments. We did so enjoy the Westview get together. I love it when a community comes together. We spent more there than the book sales..LOL I would like to take some credit for our books..let's see...Hmmmm..well, I do tend to drive us wherever we display..and I'm pretty good at loading and unloading stuff....so I'll take credit for that. The art and the story..well, that's all C6. She actually has had that book in the works for over 12 years. I am so blown away by her creativity. The artwork is original. We spent a lot of time getting the pics and artwork right for that. We probably also talked about our new one, Treasure of Diamond's Shoal, also set in Beaufort NC, featuring a young girl who befriends a Banker pony named Diamond. We have the final on that, and are waiting for the printer to complete their work. Again, Melynda, thank you for the kind words.
