The Cleveland Library was told to prepare to receive a 40' truck loaded with pallets of NEW books as a donation from educational publisher Houghton Mifflin Hartcourt within 10 days. The books are supposed to be adult or young adult fiction. The library is partially dug out fom the last large donation and needs a few weeks to move some of the furniture and computers. New equipment is arriving that will take up floor space. The library needs a donor for a 40' shipping container or similar space in a secure building. If they send us 30,000+ books, we are going to need more community volunteers to prepare them for the shelves and set them in alphabetical order. We are going to need more space! This gift could take us to 200,000 books and movies.
