Nearly 40 vendors will come together in a Get-to-Know-You event this weekend (April 19th) in the Cleveland Community. Since the thousands of new residents and dozens of new businesses have been challenged to keep up with who is in the area now, the Cleveland Community Health Fair offers a place to check out what new services are available locally. There will be FREE screenings for blood pressure, osteoporosis, scoliosis, foot and ankle problems, back health, eye health, children's health, and information on ADD/ADHD. There will be body fat analyses as well as Hunters' Safety information. Everyone will be there from the Johnston County Libraries' Bookmobile to the Bloodmobile, health clubs, and Hospice. Again, all admission and screenings are free. The Cleveland Community is halfway between Fuquay and Clayton, and Garner and Benson, around the I-40/Hwy 42 interchange. The Health Fair, rain or shine, will be on the grounds of Mount Zion United Methodist Church at 15772 NC Hwy 50N, Garner, from 9am to 12 noon, just south of the intersection with Hwy 42. The Bloodmobile is registering donors from 8am to 12:30pm. For more information, log on to www.mountzion-umc.org, e-mail info@mountzion-umc.org, or call (919)772-8415.
