We just bought a house June of last year and there is something wrong with the heat. The air works fine but the heat never shuts off, or maintains the temperature. One person told us we had to replace the whole unit for over 4,000. We don't have that. Heat comes out if the auxillary is running. The house is only 5 years old and the heating is from Ruud. Any ideas or suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Most likely a stuck contactor. You can turn off the breakers as needed til you get a chance for someone to come fix it.
