I volunteer with a group called The Positive Pitbull(www.thepositivepitbull.org) which seeks to repair the breed reputation and promote responsible ownership. We are going to be having a dog wash at Phydeaux in Raleigh this Saturday(9/3) 11-3; $15 for a wash and nail trim and $20 for two dogs. I am also selling tickets for a pancake fundraiser at Applebee's in N. Raleigh on September 10th-$7/person for a labor-free Sunday breakfast! For those that would like to help but can't attend, we can offer your ticket to a low income owner for a free meal and pitbull education. Proceeds will go to the spay/neuter of pitbulls, preventing a lot of unhappy futures-please help us reach our goal of 100 dogs!
