A witness and security camera caught a Hispanic male taking a station wagon load of community donations from Basic Needs Ministry. It happened at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, December 5. As soon as he realized he was being watched, he drove off very fast, in a dark red station wagon. We need community help to stop donations being left unattended, while the facility is closed, and volunteers to immediately process those arriving during regular hours.
This is so mean! To steal from a donations box. Grrrrrrrrrr... there is a special place in hell for this guy.
Not just this guy kel. Unfortunately this happens all over with unattended donations. Nothing says Merry Christmas quite like stealing donated items that would have ultimately put food on the table for a needy family. Speaking of, please consider donating food for the holidays to Basic Needs for the Cleveland community as the Food Bank is closed mid-December until early January.
I still think it sould be legal to shoot people like this. At least in the leg so they can't get away.
Remember the guy in Clayton who did just that a few years ago at the Bank of America ATM? He saw a woman being robbed, told the crook to stop, he didn't, so he got shot in the leg. The guy who shot him did not get charged. I was happy someone would stand up to the criminals!
AMEN! But you know, there are some who will "feel" for the criminal and make all sorts of excuses for them. People like that really tick me off.
