My 9yo male beagle/lab mix has suddenly become very ill. We noticed him lying in an odd position under the table. He had defacated while lying there (never does that). His breathing is labored & his eyes look glazed. He is almost comatose. I have no idea what this is. I know it will be nearly impossible to find a vet right now. Any advice would be appreciated :cry:

I pray all is turning out OK with your pooch; I have been thinking about you all night, hoping it is just a bug or something. We pet lovers have experienced similar situations at some point with our beloved pets, and it is scary. Please keep us posted, as I am sure there are many others who have been praying right along with me...:cry:
I know I am too late for this emergency but for future reference for all of us pet-lovers, there is an emergency clinic in Wilson that is really about the same distance from us as Cary since its right off of 95...not to mention WAY cheaper! They were great when we used them!!
