I need everyone's support, prayers, ideas or possible solutions. I have a good friend whose family has hit VERY rough time. Her husband's work got real slow and they are behind on their rent and fixin to lose a vehicle....anyday. They are willing to let this vehicle go back to decrease their expenses provided they find something else cheaper first that may not take near as long to pay off. There is one other issue with this. They do not have ANY money for a down payment. This arrangement would have to be for them to mamke monthly payments to whomever till it is paid off. Even if it is someone, other than a small car lot, that is just wanting to sell a car or truck. And while I understand that is quite an "off the wall" request, I feel like somewhere, someone either is willing or knows someone that WOULD be willing to do this. These are hard working people that have hit a bad time. At this point they can't even get school clothes for the kids. the kids have clothes but they are too small. The wife works steady but it is all she can do to keep the utilities paid and she works 2 jobs. The husband BUSTS his butt trying to keep going and is trying to find a permanent job. His construction work is just not panning out like he thought. They have made bad choices as we all have but they just need a break.....The wife CAN do it with her incomes but they need to come out of the hole they are in in order to do so. Getting a vehicle less of a hassel is a start. They do not live above their means. They struggle to be right AT their means as it is. They tryed DSS but they told her she makes $28 too much in her income............PAH LEESE. Please, if anyone knows anything or can help, PM me.
