Anyone know how to get in touch with Monaco (Tom)??? He did some work for us recently and we have a major problem now as a result of that work and the only number i have is his old cellphone from the company he used to work for. If i cannot get it corrected we are going to have major water damage and since he does not work for a company anymore and did the work on the side i am going to be completely screwed!!!!! Totally freaking out here, please if someone has the number, please let me know.

Kaci ~ just looked thru my PM's because I thought he had sent me his number, but evidently I deleted it because I cannot find it anywhere.

If you've got water coming out where it isn't supposed to be, turn off your main valve though. I'm sure you've already thought of that, but get it shut off somehow.

Seriously girl, when he was trying to find out what was wrong with the leak in the dining room wall, at first he thought it might be the tubs and replaced all kinds of stuff in them and they had nothing to do with the leak but now if we take a bath and drain the water from the master tub, it is leaking through the ceiling, i am totally scared to death right now.

This is so ironic that you are dealing with this as I currently have a 4x4 section of my living room ceiling cut out from a water leak we had happen last week! The part of the ceiling is right under my master bath and we have yet to discover where the water damage came from so we are just leaving it "open" right now before we go patching the ceiling again just to have it leak again:lol: We are thinking it might have come in from our vent up to the roof when we had all that heavy rain a couple weeks ago so we have extra sealed that part on the roof. Luckily, my father is the best "plumber, electrician, painter, sheet-rocker, etc." ever and is doing our work. If he didn't live 2 hours away I'd send him your way. But just know you aren't alone in the water problem dept right now. Best of luck to getting yours fixed.

I just spoke to her and I will be heading out there on Tuesday to fix her tub seal. The seal at the tub vent is not aligned which has caused the tub to leak when filled up with water, I will take care of it on Tuesday. The original configuration on her tub plumbing drain was kind of screwy anyway with nails being driven through the pipe in the wall and the drain vent was a pain in the A$$ to line up when I first replaced the tub shoe seal. It will be straightened out on Tuesday, Sorry for any problems Kaci. I did run the shower when I first fixed it and thought it was all set but did not fill up the tub because I thought the seals were holding. But after speaking with you tonight I know the nature of the issue and I will fix it.

Leaks are the worst to figure out. We had one in our last house which was new construction. Took many months and trials to figure out what the problem was. Ours leaked after a rain though, so it was exterior. Sounds like you are in good hands though! Hope it all works out well! :grouphug:

    If I may chime in

I've never used Tom (Monaco),in fact I have never met him.But the way he stepped right in to assure you he will guarantee and fix his work speaks volumes of his character. If in fact I ever do need any help-I will definitely call him first! like the previous poster said-it's great to have a 4042 family we can all count on.

Thanks for all the kind words. I do not want to get a reputation that I do not stand by my work and I will ALWAYS take care of ANY problems which may arise out of any work I am responsible for. I offered to go over to Kaci's home tomorrow but she will not be available so I set it up for Tuesday. I am sorry she has had an issue with work I did for her but I do and always will stand by my work and if there are any problems I am right there to take care of them at no extra cost. I do take it very personally when I do any work for anybody and it is only the right thing to do to stand behind the work you do.

I agree. Kaci, maybe you should delete your earlier posts so that folks don't get the wrong impression of Tom. IMO, you kinda threw him under the bus before you talked to him to make sure he was gonna fix the problem. Not trying to start anything, just saying . . .

I know that she was not throwing me under the bus so to speak and I was not trying to imply that in my previous post. She had every reason to be worried and she couldn't reach me. All is good though because I will go back there and fix the problem and If anyone out here has used me for work than I'm sure I can get enough people who will only give me a good recommendation. Kaci did not mean any harm, she is a good person so I am not worried. Dont worry about your post you are not starting anything. Thanks for the concern. I really do appreaciate it.
