I have to start off by saying I love my mom very much-
Today my mom was locked out of her house. Being the smart woman she is she had a spare key hidden outside. However she had put the spare key locked in a secret place and guess where the lock to THAT was? YUP, on her key chain which at this point is in the house with her keys. HERE'S YOUR SIGN :)

    That's funny.
Reminds of when my assistant mgr lost her keys here at work. Her powered window was down in her car and it started to rain buckets outside. Nice guy that I am I went out to tape a trash bag over her door so her car seat wouldn't get soaked. I accomplished that pretty well but got soaked to the skin in the process.
I found her keys about ten minutes later hanging on her key hook on the side of her desk.

Grammie, aren't you glad you don't have a daughter like this poor mom does, coming on line and getting her cyber friends laughing at her??:grouphug::lol::lol:

(this is why I am glad no one in my family comes on 4042!)

If the rug rat let me take him out for ice cream that wouldn't have happened. So it is his fault it is his. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

She told me about it. Thank you for the hug. I feel for that poor mom, thank goodness I don't have kids. heehee I understand it was the 3 year olds fault anyway.

Last saturday night as i am leaving my bartending gig, i took the elevator down along with one of the trash cans from behind the bar. The elevator went down to the bottom floor but did not open up. It did nothing. Just sat there. Buttons dont work, cant pry the door open and no one knows im there. Its a whole thing. Im one of the ones out and the two guys upstairs still at the bar, would take the steps down and the elevator opens to its own closed off room. Anyway, its a whole thing.

10 mins into being locked in i had a bright idea. Just call someone. No problem. Grab my cell....no service. Crap.

Ok no problem, ill go through the "roof" flap and stand on top of the elevator, pry the door open like they do in the movies. No problem.......well, no roof flap. Crap.

So i hit the call button on the panel and it worked! Got the Otis Elevator call center located somewhere in the country. I explain my situation. Otis guy tells me it will be at least 45 mins before someone can get there but we have the front doors locked and he cant get in. Bar is not open on Sunday, crap im going to be there till Monday.

Otis Operator....."have you tried pushing any of the buttons"?

    You know what comes next.
