higher auto insurance rates?

    Great! Just what we need... higher premiums. Wait... I thought there was a surplus? A received a refund from State Farm a few months back.

    The reason you got a refund from your insurance company is because it's the difference between what you were charged and what the state set. 5 years ago the state was behind in setting the rates and shortly after we moved here I got a check for over $200.

    Florida's only ranked 6th??? Perhaps someone should take a look at my policy. When we had 3 cars on our policy it was close to (if not over) $3000 per year. I checked the same policy for NC rates and it was under $1000 per year. Needless to say, I can't wait to move.

    And I'm still wondering how our payment went up by $20/month when we dropped a car (tranny went on it and not worth it to fix). I swear, I need to get another car on there just to lower my payment. :lol:
