Thanks! I thought about it but unlike pottery cakes,bread etc. don't keep very well so it would probably have to be based on custom orders
The little store on 42-East (Village Market?), always stayed busy with cake orders. I used to LOVE going in there because it smelled so good all the time. They had the best Hershey Bar cake ever and the 13-layer chocolate cake was heavenly. I can follow a "box", but those were all homemade and so worth the $$. I think most folks are willing to pay a good price for a taste of "home"...for me it is a taste of my Granny's house when I was little. More than just food!! :mrgreen:
