SMITHFIELD-- Jo Anne Honeycutt, Johnston County Schools' 2004-2005 Teacher of the Year and North Central Region Teacher of the Year, has been named Director of Career and Technical Education. Honeycutt, who taught business education at Cleveland Middle and West Johnston High schools, also served on the Superintendent's Teacher Advisory Council. Honeycutt has received a two-year contract.
