We use Horizon Family Medicine in Smithfield. They are very good - we like all the doctors in the practice, and the appointment desk does everything possible to make sure you can get an appointment as quickly as possible.
Used to be Smithfield Family Medicine. My wife has gone to Dr. Rhonda Davis for years, I take my son to the PA, Kathleen Boykin, And I like Chuck (Dr. Charles Williams). There are lots more to choose from. Pretty easy to get in. They have an office in Four Oaks that's always seemed to be easy to get them to see you that day.
I take my whole family there and we all love them. Hubby sees Williams, me and kids see Harris. I called at 10 today and got an appt for 5:00 today, so that was great! Have never had a problem getting in, if you tell them it's important they'll get you in. And they are all very down to earth and great doctors. The one we go to is in Clayton on Hwy 42.
Drs Williams and Harris are easily in the top 20 physicians I know (Many years selling legal ethical pharmaceuticals - so I got to know most PCPs) in the Triangle area.

The one in Clayton is on Hwy 42 right next to the drivers license office. The address is actually Butternut Lane. It's right before you get into Clayton city limits coming from 40/42 area. I'm not sure where the other offices are located.
