Does anyone have any opinion on these two preschools. My daughter is 3 and enrolled in both for the fall. I need to make a decision soon! Unfortunately, I've only seen the facilities and NOT met any of the teachers or seen the class in action.

I would love any insight from anyone in paticular any parents who have had their child there. PRO's / CON's etc...
I also want to make sure the 3 year old class isn't covering materials for 2's. A review is great, but I think my daughter would get bored very quickly!

Thank you so much for your opinions!

My children did not go to preschool. Go figure they can learn about shapes, colors, farm animals, etc... at home. Anyway ... both Christ Community and Horne have had a wonderful reputation in the community for years. I don't think you could go wrong with either. Call to see what each will be teaching in the 3 year old class, their routine, and some background on the teachers. It might help you decide.

Great question... I was a teacher at both, and loved both. They are not 'competing' preschools, more like 'sister' schools. The directors of each are friends and in regular communication with each other. The format and mission of each preschool is pretty much the same. We prepare your child for kindergarten but also realize that, at this age, much is learned through play. Both preschools have similar weekly themes and activities, and both schools do regular field trips. You really will be happy with either one. Let them know, soon, however, because both preschools have long waiting lists (which attests to their quality, I think).
