Hi! I'm looking for a decent farm with decent horses that isn't too too far away. I don't really want to pay too much because I'm only 17 (car insurance is killing me!!!). I live off Mount Pleasant, so if anyone has a close farm I could check out that would be great!!!

I ride at MacNair's which is in Cary right off of Tryon Road.

Also, there is a place on Raleigh Road right by West Johnston High that does lessons, although I'm not certain of the cost.

  4. There is one on Raleigh/Mclemore Rd, right near the high school. She has some beautiful horses there. Sign outside with number, will take note of it next time I pass by.

There is also a place that I just noticed directly across from Cleveland Elem, right beside L&G Farms, I'll try and get the number next time I'm going that way

My children and husband have been taking lessons with Elizabeth @ Triple Creek Farms for about a year. They really enjoy her instruction. Her rates are about the lowest we've found in the area for quality instruction. The farm is located about 5 miles south of the 50/210 intersection.

MacNairs is probably too far, if she's looking for something closeby. I think TripleCreek is a great place, but what type of riding are you interested in? English or Western?
