Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event Smithfield, NC --- The Johnston County Department of Solid Waste Services, the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office, the NCDA Cooperative Extension, and the NCDA&CS Pesticide Disposal Assistance Program will sponsor a one day Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event on Saturday, April 28, 2018, at the Johnston County Livestock Arena. The Livestock Arena is located at 520 County Home Rd., Smithfield, NC 27577 which is next to the Johnston County Landfill. In addition to Household Hazardous Waste, Household Pharmaceuticals and Agricultural Pesticides & Herbicides will also be collected.
