I don't know how...but there is a huge roach type looking bug flying around INSIDE MY DANG TV!!!! I have no idea how it got in there, but I want it out!!!! I can see it on the other side of the screen as it crawls up the screen...there is a smaller one in there too... The tv is a DLP tv...can anyone give me some idea of how to get the little bugger out of there???
**snort** I swear, I almost just spit out a whole mouthful of Chardonnay when I read that last comment. My DH suggested that if it has a glass panel on the front, your "visitors" might be stuck in between that front panel and the actual screen and taking that front glass panel off would enable you to remove them. Hope that is the case. If not, I've got the name of a good exterminator Barbara
LMAO!!! You guys are a riot! this tv does not have a glass front... If someone knows how to take this thing apart and actually put it back together, please let me know... The tv is a JVC 52" DLP HDTV the screen feels like a special kind of plexiglass or something... I still can't figure out how the dang thing got in there!:evil: The landlord uses Neuse termite and pest, but between this bug and the mouse that keeps sprinting through my living room, it does not seem to be working... (and apparently this mouse does not eat mouse bait)
As for the roach, wait for it to die. It may die where it wont be in the screen. After it dies, get some hotels and put around your TV. Roaches like Warm places.... TV's, radios, phones, answering machines, etc..... As for the mouse. Does it run back and forth in the same area? If so, get the sticky pads and put in those areas. If you have kids.... try to put the above mentioned items where they cant get at them.
