How many Hurricanes season ticket holders on here?

I'm curious to see how many canes fans that are on here. 65 of their 82 games will be on Fox Sports South and one game on the Versus network. Their first preseason game will be on Sept. 24th at home against the Capitals.

I had corporate seats in the upper deck for every home game from 2001 till the year after we won the cup. Sadly, the economy went south and so did my chances of seeing those seats again. My company never renewed them.

But I still try and make every home game that is not televised and I always watch them on the tele. Thank God for Fox Sports and Versus!

 

Yep, I don't drink so I don't have to leave minus an arm for beer and I can still only afford a handful of games a year. I've bought the Center Ice package the last few seasons too. I love watching the French broadcast when they play the Canadiens......lol

 

I've never been able to talk the wife into the center ice package. It's probably a good thing too cuz I'd never get to bed before midnight. I know my beauty sleep gets tested during the playoffs every year; I can't imagine having all those games every night!

I usually catch up with a canadian buddy when the games are on center ice and I can't afford a ticket. He's pretty cool but the "Eh" gets on my nerves at times.

 

I don't know what's worse, a die hard Canadian who thinks we don't known anything because we're from NC, or a Buffalo fan. I really don't like Sabres or Flyer fans for that matter.

 

I can deal with the Canadians till beer gets involved. I'm sorry to say that I'll never see eye to eye with a Sabres fan again.

Remember when Lindy Ruff was giving us a hard time about having the "Champagne on ice" during the game 6 loss? Then we revealed that it was the bottle of Relentless Wine that was signed by that little girl with Leukemia and given to Roddy B for his relentless effort... in your face Lindy!

 

Rich, I guess you and I are the Canes support in the greater 40/42 area. Or maybe everyone else is on lunch. How about some of the old players like Aaron Ward, Bates, Andrew Ladd, Shane Willis and the like working out with some of the Canes. I guess these guys really did like the area.

 

I've traveled to many cities in many different states and I can easily see why they would love it here. Outdoor hockey rinks aside, this place has to be a vast improvement over the 9-10 months of frozen soil in the north.

Lemme know if you renew center ice this year... I may come mooch off your southern hospitality sometime. I'll bring the wings and tater-tots.

My son is named after a Bruins player.:mrgreen: Them and the Habs were the closest NHL teams to wear I used to live. Don't hold that against me!

Count me in! I was a Hartford Whalers fan before they even came to Carolina. I haven't been to a game yet, but plan to go soon.

I would love to have seen more gray. But in the end their primary color is red so I get it. It's cool but it'll have to grow on me. And you?

 

I'm with you, they went a little heavy on the red and didn't use enough of the gray/silver for my taste. Gray/silver on the black woulda been the Shizzle.

I pretty much knew they would go with the warning flag on a stick logo, but the rest will probably take some getting used to. I'm still glad to see that we finally have a 3rd jersey.

 

Yep did I tell ya we don't have to put our shoes on anymore to use the bathroom? I chopped a hole in the bedroom closet. So boom there ya go.
