Omg... i have been hitting refresh over and over on Wral. How very very sad. This poor teenager (and their family).
Oh my gosh!!! How very sad and at Christmas. My prayers definitly go out to this family. Christmas will never be the same for them.
Seeing this story really made me fell like an idiot for complaining about a broken XBOX on Christmas morning. I had family with me - and that's really what Christmas is all about. This story is just so tragic.
I shouldn't have read this article last night....lost a whole lotta sleep over this. My heart goes out to the family and to the 16 year old boy. He is gonna have some hard times. Ro
In case anyone missed it, they updated the story today and added this... Thank goodness, I can't imagine having that kind of accident and then having charges filed too. Poor kid, he has to live with what happened for the rest of his life. I would imagine that in itself is more punishment than anything the law could dish out to him. :-(
sometimes with my kid i feel a little like an ogre, or too protective, or too controlling or something until i read something like this hold your babies close closer
And keep your eyes on them, I heard on the news that the kid thought she was in the house with the parents, and the parents thought she was in the car going to dinner. Who was watching this little girl? Nobody.
