Can you recommend one? I bought the Vicks warm mist humidifier but it's going back,had a cool mist one before and probably like those better.Prefer to buy it locally instead of ordering it online. Thanks!
I have a cool mist humidifier from CVS. It was inexpensive, but works well. I use it in my children's room when they have colds and it definitely helps them sleep better. You can hold your hand up to it and feel the cool mist blowing out of the machine. You may be looking for something more expensive and sophisticated, but this one does work well for me.
Any cool mist humidifer will work just fine. The evaporative kind don't seem as effective. Also, use distilled water if possible. It won't corrode the metal transducer.
I had one from Baby's R Us and it was a cool mist one it worked really well and took care of a large room 30X18. Sorry I can't remember which model.
