My 11 y/o Daughter is looking to go hunting this year with me. Currently completing her Hunters Safety Course (I got mine several years ago, but it's good to have a refresher). Wondering if there are any good spots to go, where she will be likely to encounter a deer (not necessarily have to take the shot) so she can experience hunting in her first year. If anyone here has a private spot, that they would be willing to share for a few select Saturdays (we're talking 3 days probably at most) I would be most grateful. We depend on the supplemental meat for our household, and if I can take 2 this year and she get one, we'd be set for quite a while. I plan on hunting the game lands (and if anyone knows of any good spots and would like to share, that would be helpful) this year as well, but for the safety of my daughter, I'd prefer to take her someplace private.
